One of a kind, the Rais Suite unfolds over two levels connected by an internal staircase, set within the historic spaces of the ancient tuna fishery.
Rooms that once preserved the memory of the Rais — the leader and guiding figure of the tonnara — have now been reinterpreted to offer a spacious, private, and character-filled stay.
Designed to accommodate up to four guests, the Suite features a double bedroom, a bright living area with sofa bed and dining table, and a private bathroom with shower, a rich courtesy set, and all essential comforts. Completing the experience is a private terrace with 360-degree views over the sea and the village of Bonagia: a privileged vantage point that recalls the Rais’s ancient role, as he once observed the horizon from here, assessed the currents, and scanned the sea to direct the fishing operations.
The airy, well-distributed interiors are enhanced by terracotta floors and natural light streaming through the windows overlooking the historic areas of the property. Furnishings inspired by the colors of the earth and the sea create a warm, elegant atmosphere deeply connected to the authentic history of the tonnara.
